Terms of Service
Rehearse is operated by Fachrin Aulia Nasution, c/o Impressumservice Dein-Impressum, Stettiner Str. 41, 35410 Hungen, Germany (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms govern your use of rehearse.today, including your account and any paid plan. You accept them, and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, with the checkbox when you create your account, and again in the statement you tick before you pay for a plan. If you have any questions, write to us at [email protected].
The service
Rehearse is a practice tool for behavioral interviews. It asks questions aloud, follows up on what your answers leave unclear, transcribes what you say, and reviews the content of your answers: what they conveyed, and what they left out.
It is a preparation tool. It is not a recruitment agency, it does not act for employers, and it cannot influence any hiring decision. The review is automated analysis; its limits are set out in “Limits of the review” below.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Rehearse is sold as a monthly subscription in EUR. VAT included. The plans, their allowances and the current prices are shown on our pricing page; the price you see when you subscribe is the price you pay for each month. There is no free trial and no minimum term.
You hold one plan at a time, and a subscription’s plan does not change while it runs. You can choose a different plan after your current subscription ends.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Cancelling does not refund the current paid period. You cancel under Billing & subscription in your account, or from the “Cancel your plan” page linked at the foot of every page. Refunds are made only where the Refunds & Withdrawal Policy or applicable law provides for them.
Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem is the seller of your subscription: it handles payment methods, tax, invoices and receipts, and carries out any refund. Its Buyer Terms (https://www.creem.io/buyer-terms) also apply to your purchase.
Your right of withdrawal
If the consumer law that applies to your purchase gives you a statutory right of withdrawal, you can use it as the Refunds & Withdrawal Policy describes, through “Withdraw from contract” at the foot of every page. Withdrawing ends your plan immediately. Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that your subscription should start straight away. While withdrawal remains available, a proportionate amount for the part of the month already provided may be kept, worked out by time where the law allows. Once every rehearsal in that purchase’s quota has been used, the service is fully performed and that purchase can no longer be withdrawn.
Your statutory rights if the service is faulty, or if you were charged in error, are not affected by anything in these terms.
Your account
You sign in with Google or GitHub through our authentication provider. You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Each account is for one person only; plan allowances are personal and may not be shared or resold.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting it ends your plan at once, so it never renews; the rest of the current month is not refunded, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Deleting your account is not a withdrawal: to withdraw from your contract, use “Withdraw from contract” first. Your sign-in is removed from our authentication provider too, so signing up again later, even with the same address, starts a new, empty account.
Acceptable use
When you use Rehearse, you agree to:
- use it only to prepare for your own interviews, and only for lawful purposes;
- upload only resumes and job descriptions you have the right to use, and no personal data about other people;
- not share your credentials, resell access, or attempt to bypass plan allowances or security;
- not scrape, reverse-engineer, probe or overload the service or its providers;
- take responsibility for what you tell employers: worked examples are practice material, not facts about you.
Your materials
Your resume, job descriptions and spoken answers remain yours. You grant us the limited right to process them, meaning transcription, analysis and review, solely to provide the service. The reviews and worked examples generated from your rehearsals are provided for your use.
Uploaded files are read once and discarded. What we keep, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Limits of the review
A review is an automated assessment of your transcribed answers against a written rubric, drawing on your resume and, where included, a job description. It is not career, legal, medical or psychological advice. It cannot know an employer’s decision, facts you did not say, or why a real interview ended the way it did. You remain responsible for judging the review against your own knowledge of your experience.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Rehearse available and to fix faults promptly, but interruptions for maintenance, or for reasons outside our control, can happen. We may improve, change or remove features as long as the service keeps doing what your plan describes. We may discontinue the service by telling you by email at least 30 days in advance; any time you have paid for and can no longer use is then refunded pro rata.
We may change these terms for a good reason, such as a new feature, a change in the law or a security need. We will email you at least 30 days before a change takes effect. A change never applies to a billing period you have already paid for, and if you do not agree with it, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential to the contract, meaning one that makes the contract possible in the first place and on which you may rely, and then only for the damage that is typical and foreseeable for a contract like this one. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
Your statutory rights if the service is defective, and the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live, are not affected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you act as a consumer, the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence are unaffected.
