Refunds & Withdrawal Policy
Rehearse is operated by Fachrin Aulia Nasution, c/o Impressumservice Dein-Impressum, Stettiner Str. 41, 35410 Hungen, Germany (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy sets out when payments are refunded and describes the statutory right of withdrawal: who has it, how to exercise it, and its effect on your plan and your payment. If you have any questions, write to us at [email protected].
Summary
Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the period you have paid for. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you may instead withdraw within 14 days of subscribing without giving a reason while the service has not been fully performed. Withdrawing ends your plan immediately, and you are refunded what you paid, less the share of the billing period already provided where the law allows. We also refund a faulty service, or a wrong or duplicate charge, where the law provides for it; we do not offer change-of-mind refunds beyond that.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Cancelling does not refund the current paid period. This applies whether or not you have used your plan, and however soon after subscribing you cancel. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
You cancel under Billing & subscription in your account, which opens the billing portal of Creem, our merchant of record, or from the “Cancel your plan” page linked at the foot of every page.
Withdrawing is not cancelling
Where the consumer law that applies to your purchase gives you a statutory right of withdrawal, you may withdraw from your contract instead of cancelling it. Withdrawing ends your plan immediately. Who has the right, the period for exercising it, how to exercise it and how the refund is calculated are set out below.
Who has the right
A right of withdrawal exists where the consumer law that applies to your purchase provides one. For consumers in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom, it does: you may withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. The right belongs to consumers; it does not apply to a purchase made for business purposes.
Where the rules that apply to your purchase cannot be determined with confidence, we review your withdrawal rather than refuse it. The consumer law of some countries gives no statutory right to withdraw from a service like Rehearse without giving a reason; your rights for a faulty service or a wrong charge are not affected.
The withdrawal period
The period is 14 days, starting the day after you subscribe. If its last day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it runs to the end of the following Monday. Your withdrawal is on time if you send it before the period ends and the service has not been fully performed; the moment we receive it is recorded and never changed.
The right applies to the start of your subscription, not to each renewal, unless the law that applies to you provides otherwise.
How to withdraw
Use “Withdraw from contract”, linked at the foot of every page and, while the right applies, under Billing & subscription in your account. Enter your name, the email address you paid with and your order reference. The order reference begins with “ord_” and is stated in the purchase confirmation email we sent you after payment, including in its subject line. You do not need to sign in, give a reason or contact us first. We show you what withdrawing means for your purchase, you confirm with “Confirm withdrawal”, and we immediately email you a confirmation stating the date and time we received your withdrawal.
You can also withdraw by sending us a clear statement by email to [email protected], or by post to the address below; the model form at the end of this page is optional.
What happens to your plan
Withdrawing ends your plan immediately: from that moment you can no longer start rehearsals on it, and your subscription is cancelled so it never renews.
If we need to review which rules apply to your purchase, your plan stays active until we tell you the outcome. If the withdrawal applies, your plan ends then; if it does not, your plan continues unchanged.
Your refund after withdrawing
We refund what you paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, through Creem, our merchant of record, to the payment method you used.
Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that your subscription should start straight away and acknowledge when withdrawal will end. While withdrawal remains available, if you gave that confirmation and the law that applies to your purchase allows it, we keep a proportionate amount for the part of your first billing period provided before you withdrew, and refund the rest. That amount is calculated by time, with any rounding in your favour. Once every rehearsal in the relevant purchase’s quota has been used, the service is fully performed and that purchase cannot be withdrawn. Rights concerning a faulty service or a wrong charge remain unaffected. If you did not give the immediate-start confirmation, an eligible withdrawal is refunded in full.
For example, on a €19.99 plan withdrawn three days into a thirty-day billing period, a tenth of the period has passed: €1.99 is kept and €18.00 is refunded. You see the calculation before you confirm, and again in the confirmation email.
When there is no refund
A withdrawal sent after the period has ended, after the purchase’s rehearsal quota has been fully used, or for a purchase for which the applicable rules provide no right of withdrawal, does not lead to a refund; your plan continues as before. We tell you why by email if you send a declaration. You can still cancel future renewals at any time.
No change-of-mind refunds
Apart from a statutory withdrawal, we do not refund a subscription because you changed your mind, did not use it or no longer need it, except where applicable law requires us to.
Wrong or duplicate charges
If you are charged twice, or charged when you should not have been, the wrong charge is refunded in full. A second subscription paid while you already have one is cancelled and refunded automatically, and so is a payment taken after your account was deleted. For any other charge you think is wrong, such as a renewal taken after you cancelled, write to [email protected]: we will look into it and refund it if it was wrong.
If the service is faulty
If Rehearse does not work as described, your statutory rights apply: tell us, and we will remedy the fault or, where the law provides, reduce the price or refund you. Nothing in this policy limits those rights, or any other right the law gives you that cannot be waived.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are made by Creem to the payment method you used, and can take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank. Your payments and refunds are listed in the billing portal under Billing & subscription.
Problems with a charge
Payments, receipts and chargebacks are handled by Creem as merchant of record. If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first; this is usually the quickest way to resolve it.
